8th May 2010. Copenhagen Beer Festival. End of evening beer notes! Hazy dark brown beer. Light crisp palate. Dry and tangy with a carbonated bite. Even malt. A bit dull but a nice palate.

On tap “ the brewpub. Almost clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel and spices. Flavor is quite light malty, some caramel, a hint of roast and a fruity finish. This is OK, and drinkable but something is missing somewhere.

Bottle. A strong attempt at a dunkel. Pretty complex flavours here. Caramel is perhaps a little overdone.

Bottled. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel malts, some yeast, grass and mildly roasted notes. Flavour is caramel, malts, saltwater and some mild roasted notes. Refreshing brew, but some of the flavours don’t fit in that well.

50 cL bottle. Pours almost clear and golden amber with a dense off-white head. Light fruity aroma. Malty to light roasted malt. Flavour is mildly yeasty spiced with a decent caramel malt base. Medium sweet flavour with a light acidity. I don’t get the honey though. Bitter into the far finish.

Draught @ Brewery Pub, Aalborg. Clear dark amber color with a small fair lacing light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet, earth, celler. Flavor is moderate sweet, acidic, bitter with a average duration. Finish feel is metalic when it is cold. Is good together with food.
