Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Amber colour, minimal head. Sweet, roasty and nutty. Medium bodied with notes of lingonberries. Lightly piney/resiny finish with medium bitterness.
Earlier Rating: 4/10/2006 Total Score: 2.9
[Re-rate: Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Cloudy amber, creamy head. Caramelly and buttery, fairly sweet. No trace of the earlier infection. Medium bodied, gentle malty finish. Old rating 2006-04 - Bottled. Cloudy orange/amber. Infected acidic apple aroma. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Fruity, but infection kills every possible flavour, rendering the beer to be near undrinkable (1-2-1-1-3 = 0.8).

(Bottle 50 cl) As "Søgaard Loa". Slightly hazy, amber golden with basically no head. Lightly sweet malt aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of caramel and overripe fruit. A fairly solid hoppiness in the finish. Rather heavy carbonation. Not ugly or unpleasant as such - but not much of a Dunkel. 151206 (On tap) As "Søgaard Naverbryg". Amber coloured, slightly hazy with a small, creamy, off-white head. Somewhat caramellish, roasted flavour. Thin-bodied with a solid hop-bite in the finish. Score 2.7 250605

Bottled. (as Naverbryg, 4.8% ABV) Not completely clear, golden with a small, dense off-white head. A sugary, fruity, but yet acidic aroma, lacking the maltyness promised in the label. Flavor is mostly fruity with a hoppy note in the back. Sweet, medium body. Long, bitter finish. Rating: 4-3-4-3-10-2.4. (060214)
Bottle. A clear, copper-colored beer with a small, beige head. Some vegetables in the aroma, but mostly roasted malt, fruits and caramel. Quite weak though. The flavor is much the same, also weak, and rounds of with caramel sweetness and a decent hoppy bitterness. Medium body. A decent beer, but quite boring. (081128)
