RBESG2008: 50 cL can, 4.5%. Pours clear and golden deep brown/orange with a fluffy light tan head. Mild fruity and slight spiced aroma. Flavour is dry malty and mild spiced. Ends dry and somewhat flat, breadish too.

RBESG08 grand tasting One of the last beers on the tasting... the game was in the 80’s I reckon. Dark red body. Malty nose. Dull sweet malty taste. Simple, boring.

Medium light beige head does not last. Deep brown body with light carbonation. Roasty caramelly aroma with peppery notes and dried fruit. Dry-sweet roasty caramel taste with notes of wild berries and pepper. Dry roasty cardboard aftertaste. Quite good, if a bit watery. (0.5l can, St. Urho’s pub, Helsinki.)

Can 0,5l. Golden colored. A tanned head that soon disappeared. Some malt in the aroma. Modest malty flavor. Much flavor for it’s (lack of) strength.

50 cl can, thanks Fatphil- Copper coloured with a tan head. Fruity aroma with fruity roasted taste with hints of roasted coffee, chocolate and caramel with a lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite a lot of flavour for the strength.

500ml can from Kilpis. Clear and nice mahogany body under a filmy, off-white head. Sweet aroma of dark malts. Malty flavour to the fore supported by grainy hints, slightly roasted. A bit thin palate, but well worth the taste (shared with Finn, Tromsø 06.09.2007).

Can. Clear, brown beer with a decent beige head. Some vegetables in the aroma, as well as a weak maltyness and some caramel-sweetness. Malty flavor with a weak roasted touch and a decent hop-level. Medium body. A decent dunkel, but far from a world classic. (070317)
