Cask at C4, Odense: Black with a red hew & good creamy brown head. Aroma is of roasted malts, Chcolate/coffee & caramel. Smooth & soft carbonation & mouthfeel. Flat palate. Bitter roasted coffee end. Quite nice!

Black with ruby highlight, small off-white head. Roasted aroma, toffee and chocolate, but rather weak. Roast and dry flavour with some body.

Cask conditioned at the Robin Hoods Retreat, Bristol 2/6/07. Cola coloured with a moderate off-white head. A touch of sweet malt on the nose followed by a very dry flavour of dark fruit and roasted malt. Easy drinking with a slight oily mouth feel.

Cask @ Charlies, Ølfestival Horsens 2006. Deep black color with a small tan head. Roasted malty aroma with a light fruity sweetness. Roasted malty flavor with coffee note and hints of fruit. Dry roasted finish.

Cask Conditioned, Charlie’s Pub, Copenhagen
Dark brown color, thin creamy head. Fresh and light bodied Stout, with some hidden good hops, a very nice coffeish note, strong ending bitterness, with a touch of liquorice.

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2004] A dark brown beer with a beutiful light brown head. The aroma is sweet roasted combined with notes of coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of raisins, coffee, and chocolate. A great beer.
