Bottled in DK. Poured dark, not much carbonation. Malty, brown, some spices and rum raisininess. Not too shabby.

Dark brown pour, light mocha head. Nice aroma of dark fruit, dark burnt brown sugar, and some nice ginger. The ginger really comes through in the finish with a great belgian fruity aftertaste. Nice stuff, the ginger is refreshing, nice beer.

Backlog June 2010. Unclear reddish amber body under a fading off-white head. Aroma has malt, caramel and Christmas spices. Taste is mild malty with some caramel and spices like cardamom and cinnamon, low bitterness. Medium body with rather short aftertaste. Drinkable but not very interesting.

Bottle. Murky brown color. Spicy aroma with brown sugar. Spicy sweet flavor. Speculaas, cardemom, anis. Sticky mouthfeel. Why all those spices?!

[Copenhagen 2017] 250+ ml. draft @ hostel & 100+ ml. draft @ their brewpub (forgot that I had recently had it until it was too late). Murky ugly reddish brown, little head. Nose is overripe soapy Christmas cake, soap. Soapy biscuit, sugar, candy, murky malt, very soapy, quite messy, herbal,… Weird thick malts, very messy heavy soap. At the brewery more DE fish guts yeast, bay leaf. Second best beer that I have had from these guys, mainly because loads of sweet ingredients but it is quite a mess & not that great.

On tap at What’s Brewing beer festival 2015, Stavanger. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. Aroma of oranges, limes, honey. Taste is a bit sour; well balanced. Nice X-mas beer.
