This beer is hand-brewed with great care and with the world's purest water. The water comes from the Greenland ice sheet, which is approximately 180,000 years old and more than 3km thick. The enormous pressure in the middle pushes icebergs out into the many fjords. The fishermen have selected the small icebergs in their small fishing boats to melt and use in this beer. The beer is then transported across the Atlantic and has therefore come a long way, in order to be enjoyed with great pleasure.

I had this both unfiltered on tap and filtered on bottle. The color is in both cases deep red, but the draft version is hazy. It has a fluffy orangy head. The aroma is sweet with strong spicy notes that is combined with notes of fruit and yeast - among the spices I pick up all spice and cloves. The flavor is sweet and again very spicy - again lots of all spice, but also with notes of fruits and berries, and a bit of yeast. In the draft version, which is 1% ABV stronger than the bottle I find a light note of the alcohol, as well as a bit of metal. The end is dry and very spicy.

Bottle. Pours a clear brown body with a beige head. Some banana in the aroma, along with caramel, a faint note of licorice, cloves and caraway. Sweet flavor with the same spices found in the aroma, as well as caramel. Medium body. The finish is roasted, with some caramel and spices. I remember it better, now it feels a bit bland, but I ended up with the same score. 6-4-6-4-13-3.3. (080314)
