From tap outside De Bierkoning, Amsterdam, during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017. Herbal aroma with spicy juniper, notes of pickles, grain, lactic touch with yoghurt. Flavour is medium sour. Body is medium. Fascinating Norsk traditional brew.

Bottled (from Vinmonopolet@AIH128). Golden colour, small head. Aroma is juniper, some nutty notes with mild tart wood. Flavour is strong on the juniper, some tart wood and mild lemony elements. Interesting brew.

Bottle. Unclear straw yellow to pale golden body under a big white head. Fresh aroma of fruit and juniper with a hint of cellar and vegetable. Unusually funky and almost at the limit for being off, still very nice in the nose. Flavor is really sour with piney bitterness, wet forest, lemon and some fruit. Medium body and tart aftertaste. Sure interesting but not the best from this brewery.

Tap @ Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017. Pale blonde. Twigs,, citrus and elderflower in the aroma. Floral, perfumed. Surprisingly sweet ’n sour flavor with twigs and elderberry. Floral. A bit too much for me, but an interesting beer.
