Bottle @Øllets Dag, Fredericia. Nealry clear dark brown, light beige head. Sourish, malty aroma, light hoppy notes. Malty flavour, sourish roasted malt.

15/6/2019. Bottle bought at the brewery and shared at the Prague GP bottle share. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, caramel, cake, oats and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture with average to soft carbonation. Has a dark chocolate finish. Pretty good.

From old notes. From tap at Copenhagen Olfestival 2012. Black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, milk chocolate, coffee, licorice. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Light to medium oily body with soft to flat carbonation.

500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgaard. ABV is 5.4%. Sampled 1 month before BB date. Pitch black colour, large to moderate tan head. The aroma is fairly fruity and sourish for a stout, also notes of chocolate. The flavour is also sourish and slightly fruity, then the more expected notes of chocolate and coffee take over. Not much sweetness. Moderate hops. Far from undrinkable, but I might re-rate if I get a fresher bottle.

Draft @ DØE Ølfestival 2013. Pours a dark brown black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and oatmeal aroma. Roasted malty caramel and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel finish.

[5/12/12] Hand-pump draught sample at Ølfestival København 2012. Black-colored. Sweetish aroma with some dark malt, some roastiness, licorice hints and a bit of dark fruit touches. Bittersweet flavor with malt, some roastiness, oatmeal notes and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied, pretty flat. Pretty easy-drinking.
