Our best selling beer is an ultra premium craft lager which lives up to its name. Clear golden colour with big flavours of a real ale delivered in the freshness of a smooth tasting Dormtmunder/Helles style lager. Imagine a hay barn in the summer when it hasn't rained for a while and you can almost taste the dryness in the air. With a malty biscuity character. Restrained citrus notes in the background with a light bittersweet finish.

Contains no additives or preservatives only four different hops, malted barley (from our own malthouse), yeast and water.

"God Lager" means good lager in Swedish and that is exactly what you get with this devine un-pasteurised beer.

Golden, no head and lightly carbonated. It has a surprisingly nice texture to it even if its other characteristics feel more ordinary. There’s some grain in the taste.

Bottled in the castle garden in Malmo. Bright gold, clear, low head. Hopyp nose with lemon, biscuits. Bready and well-hopped. Sweet malt flavor with biscuits, orange and lemon. Peppery, prickly finish.

330ml bottle at home. Pours golden yellow with a quickly vanishing head. Hay sweet aroma, some floral hops. Bready character comes through on the taste, and some bitterness. Not bad, but not great.

Nose is malt, light cereal, light biscuit, inoffensive. Taste is cereal, with light caramel and good butter, with a soft sweet finish. Mouthfeel is quite creamy for a lager, and lightly carbonate. A reasonable larger.

Appearance: golden edging on amber. Cloudy. Much carbonation, negligible white head. Smells lemony, grass, wine gums. Bitter sour initially, fading to a more agreeable sweet. Nice bitter hoppy kick in the aftertaste.

Bottle from Waitrose in Windsor. Pours a golden colour with a small white head that soon goes. Sweet aroma of malt and citrus. Soft carbonation. Medium body. Quite a good lager.

330ml bottle. Pours a golden amber colour with a white foam head that dissipates and aroma of malt, grain & grassy hop. Taste is biscuity malt, grain, grassy and abit metallic bitterness. Light bodied, soft to medium carbonation. Some residual sweetness, malt & dry bitter at the finish. Quite OK.

[330ml bottle from Tescos, Reading] Deep gold with a negligible head and annoyingly prockly fizz. Some sweet caramel and butter with grassy hops. Not as bad as most lagers but still not for me.

Pale gold beer with a thin, filmy head. Honey aroma. Not too sweet but no real sharpness to balance it it either and it’s not an especially distinctive flavour. Drinkable but not special.

Helt enkelt en god lager, lagom söt och med en behaglig efterbeska. Smak och doft av humle, malt.
