On tap at Governors Pub. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong nuttiness supported by hay and straw notes. Flavor has sweet grains and lots of nuts with a sweet earthy toffee and biscuit backing.

341ml bottle. (5.0% ABV) Pours a clear amber with a small, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Mild aroma of caramel malt, grain and biscuit. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, grain, biscuit and grass with a crisp, dry, mildly bitter, hoppy finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with a nice white foamy head with good retention. Aroma of clean crisp cereal notes with light residual sugar notes is quiet awesome. Taste is also dominated by clean and crisp cereal notes with light floral undertone and some residual sugar notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Not a popular beer style and I was expecting much but this beer is quite the thirst quencher.

Purchased at NS Liquor on my trip to Nova Scotia. Pours a rich golden colour with a very light amber hue. Nice creamy off-white head with decent retention and some more creamy lacing. Aromas are quite grainy with some hay and mild sweetness. The taste is pretty much the same, but with the hop showing in the finish. Light grass, but with a touch of what seems like adjunct or chemical hints. The rest is not bad, but not like written on label "Premium", nor "Spéciale".

Location: Draft at Maxwell's Plum, 7/7/13
Aroma: The nose has caramel, some toffee, fruity notes, and a little earth
Appearance: It pours an amber color with a small white-to-off-white head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is similar to the nose, somewhat sweet and malty with light hop bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an okay but not great mouthfeel, and mild dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was an alright, but ultimately underwhelming amber. It's better than plenty of beers out there, but it is nothing too exciting.

Poured from a 341mL bottle. Clear, golden amber (more gold than amber) with some off-white head. Mild carmel malt aroma. Same mild taste, with feint hops, very light and a little watery.

Bottle: Poured a clear light amber color ale with a medium foamy head with good retention and surprisingly very good lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt with a semi-dry finish is OK. Taste is also dominated by some caramel malt with not much in terms of other characteristics. Average body with good carbonation. Very easily drinkable but well done for the style.

Had in bottle in Lunenberg. Golden-amber colour. Quite caramelly, earthy nose with a little bit of flora hop. Quite earthy in the body, with a light woody taste, moderate bitterness and a decently dry finish.
