[9/27/11] Mahleket Hanikot Shotrim ’11 tour. Can at 1000fryd in Aalborg. 4.6%. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grainy malt, a bit of corn and a bit of hoppy notes. Sweetish grainy flavor with a bit of DMS and a more bitter finish. Light-bodied.

0,33 l. can imported from Germany. Very pale, golden colour with limited head. Aroma and taste is moderate maltiness and weak bitterness. Quite carbonated, and nothing special, but a nice beer a warm spring day. Better balanced than the stronger Export.

Bottle. Poured a clear pale gold with a thin quickly dissipating white head. Aroma had notes of corn and grain. Flavor was similar, but weaker.

Canned. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some maize as well as mild sugar. Flavour is fruity, sweet malty, maizeish, and grainy. Finish goes quite grassy and rather dry palated.

40 cl Draft. Regular boring Pilsner. No aroma. Very carbonated. If you don’t drink it fast while it’s cold it becomes almost undrinkable.
