Drachmann Pilsner 5,0 % – Bryghusets fantastiske gode pilsnerøl. Kendt i det ganske land. Gylden og frisk, frugtnoter fra Tettnangerhumlen bemærkes. Brygget efter det tyske Reinheitsgebot, hvor der kun er brugt vand, bygmalt, humle og gær. Ingen tilsætninger overhovedet, og også kun den naturlige opstået kulsyre er anvendt.

Bottled. Finally, the beers from Skagen have hit the streets. Have sampled some of the brewers home-brewed beer before, so I’m a little bit excited to see what he has accomplished. The pilsner pours almost clear, golden, and with a white head. It has a fruity nose with malt and hops. Quite fruity flavor, with malt, hops and notes of hay and grain. Thin body and a bitter finish with fruity notes. A quite decent Danish Pilsner. Rating: 5-4-5-2-11-2.7. (061006)
Bottle. It pours a slightly hazy, golden body under a small off-white head. Sweetish, grainy maltyness on the nose, with a decent hop-aroma slightly in the background. A touch of DMS too. Bitter flavor with malty sweetness, some caramel and DMS, a little metallic hint and some green pinecones. Medium to full-bodied and quite effervescent. Finishes as it tastes initially. Decent, and overcarbonated, with too much sediments in the bottle. (090113)

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly deminishing head. Amber! colour. Nice malty and slightly hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor and finish. Average duration. A little watery but still ok palate. Close to be a vienna.
