La Terrible is a dark brown beer on lees and is part of a collection of exotic and refined Unibroue beers brewed using 100% natural raw materials. 2007 bottle. Cork pops with no gusher; a good start. Deep brown beer color under a thin layer of foam. Smell is slightly subdued, but after a few sniffs, there's the toasty malt, a bit of candi sugar and just a sniff of fruit esters. No faults with the taste, just strong malt in a molasses roast. Mouthfeel is just a little thinner than expected. Hugely enjoyable for an 18 year old bottle.

very dark brown, no much head to it. aroma has alot of malt in it. not as fruity as i’m used to from Unibroue. not one of my favorites.

En bouche, le cumin, la réglisse et la levures dominent. L'alcool est quand même discret au goût, mais il est ;-) Une de mes préférées de ce brasseur...

330ml (thx, Alex M.!). Appearance: dark brown with a tan head. Aroma: nice vinous and dark sugars, some raisins and plums. Taste: along the same lines, some booziness. Overall: good Belgian Strong.

Surprised I never rated this one. This one is in a regular sized bottle from a six mix pack, rather than the standard 750 that this usually comes in. Even with a careful pour this one went 90% thick tan head. When it finally settled down, you get taste sweeter molasses, cloves, a little nutmeg, a little dried stone fruit. It the type of beer you have to be in a mood for, but it's a nice one.

Bottle shared. Dark brown color, full sized mocha colored head. Aroma and flavor malts, sweet, lightly raisins, some light sourness in there. Hmm not a fan. 6-3-6-3-11.
