ESB. A full strength Extra Special Bitter. Designed to a be a modern classic, brewed with Maris Otter on a backbone of crystal malt, with a pinch of roasted barley, giving it a deep ruby tone. Kentish Bramling Cross hops were chosen for balanced bitterness, offering floral and blackcurrant notes. Combined, these produce a wonderfully harmonious beer, with a lingering and satisfying bitterness. Floral and blackcurrant hop notes. Bready, toffee, toasty malt characters. Complex, satisfying bitterness.
