Aus der Flasche im 2025-03 getrunken. Diese Ale zeigt ein typischen britischen IPA Charakter mit eine moderaten Hopfenbitterkeit und einer etwas versteckten Grapefruit Aroma. Sehr gut trinkbar!

Pale copper colour, steady small white head and lace. Fruity, UK grainy nose. Medium-bodied. Some fruityness, nutty maltyness, citrus in the flavour. Quite low key flavour although has decent malty backbone. Clearly UK IPA with American influence.

24/IV/25 - 50cl bottle from Mr. Hop (webshop) @ Peter’s 50th birthday party, Cabane Banane (Gent), BB: n/a (2025-405) Thanks to Peter for sharing today’s beers!

Clear orange blond beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, lots of cow fodder, grains, hay, oxidized, more cow fodder. How is this an IPA? MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sourish up front, very malty, grains, cow fodder, weird. Aftertaste: bitter, hoppy, grassy, oxidized, malty, bleh. Probably way too old. Didn’t get a look at the best-by date though. The bottle had already disappeared somewhere.

0.5 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', best before July 2025. Almost clear, golden orange with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fruity-resiny, slightly herbal-grassy aroma of marmalade, earl grey, orange and light tobacco. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity-resiny and a bit herbal-grassy taste of marmalade, orange, earl grey, tobacco and light mango, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very British, but also quite nice.
