Dark, traditional and surprising, this is the collaboration between Twins and Cierzo, in which we rescue this more intense variant of the Stout, balanced with the creaminess of the oats and the light herbaceous nuances of the Northern Brewer hops, which are combined with the classic roasted notes provided by the malt.

24/IV/25 - 44cl can from Mr. Hop (webshop) @ Peter’s 50th birthday party, Cabane Banane (Gent), BB: 10/II/30, canned: 10/II/25, batch: 25005 (2025-384) Thanks to Peter for sharing today’s beers!

Little cloudy brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: good roast, a bit soapy, yeast, banana, chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: good bitterness, hoppy, a bit resinous. Aftertaste: malty, roasted, chocolate notes, grains, pretty bitter, almost tastes like a black ipa.

Black with a tall tan head. Dry powdered cocoa, earthy, dark roasted malts, some burnt malt, minimal sweet notes. Medium, smooth body. Finish is dry with plenty of roasted notes. A bit of booze is noticeable but not distracting. Really solid stout.
