In June 2019 Brakspear Bitter was renamed Brakspear Gravity. Brakspear Gravity is brewed using the famous Henley “Double Drop” fermentation system in Victorian in six original, handcrafted copper fermenting vessels from the Original Henley Brewery. This amber ale has crystal malt and a well hopped bitterness in taste, which transforms into a bitter- sweet and fruity finish.

Creamy beige head left a spotty cover on a chestnut coloured still body. Pale malt, faint citrus & fruity aroma. Medium to thin bodied, nicely carbonated with a clean back Tangy fruity tastes with light citrus, pale malt tea & berries A nice pint.

Cask at the Squirrel, Penn Street, 27/10/19. Clear golden with a decent white head. Nose is biscuit malts, nutty, dried fruits, straw. Taste comprises biscuit crumbs, dusty fruits, grass, light twigs, crackers. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok bitter.

Klar bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, schwach hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht brotig mit etwas Karamell, leicht fruchtig, leicht hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, leichter bis mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
