Also known as a “Wee Heavy,” it's overwhelmingly malty with a rich sweet malt flavor and aroma. Pours a bright reddish-brown laced with a tan head. Rich flavor profile includes caramel, molasses, and brown bread. Delicately hopped to not take away from the malt flavor. Slàinte Mhath!

Ashland draught, 4/13/25.
Not sure if that's diacetyl or just buttery-toasty crystal malt. I'm leaning heavily towards diacetyl. This has been on tap a while and maybe the lines are long and not cleaned enough?
Hmm, no, the flavor shows no diacetyl, but rather a ton of rich caramelized sugar, toasted malt and caramel. Good chew to it but drying out nicely on the end. Maybe even a bit too dry with some scratchy crystal malt.
