Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Cloudy golden, creamy head. Light dusty wheat malt aroma. Sweet and medium boduied with rounded spritzy mouthfeel. Bold dusty malt flavours, only light estery yeast character. Doesn’t really work for me.

Draught at Frederikshavn øl- og vinfestival 07. The aroma has a little green apple and is not very good. Cloudy orange colour, small white head. The flavour is slightly better than the aroma, hint of wheat, low bitterness. Good mouthfeel with low carbonation for a wheat beer. OK, but not exciting.

Bottled. It appeares to be without sediments and hazyness, it’s almost golden in color, and it is topped by a small, off-white dense head. Hay and grass dominates the aroma, but there’s a sour note as well. Hay, grass and fruityness in the flavor, and a medium to thin mouthfeel. Wheatbeer? It’s refreshing, but not too beer-ish. Bottle. An unclear dark orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of wheat, oranges, and plastic. The flavor is slightly wheaty combined with light notes of oranges, and with a dry end. The body is thin. I find it boring.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a small, off-white head. Lightly tart, malty nose. Fairly light-bodied with lightly fruity notes - but no banana esters and yeast as in a real German Hefe. Actually there’s not much wheat character here. 091206
