Cask @ Farmers Arms, Swinton. Golden with a small head. Has a good slightly smooth session texture to it but not much aroma or flavour.

Full pint, hand pulled cask at Mr. Thomas Chop House. Near clear copper coloured body. Tiny layer at the top. Malt-fruity nose. Ditto taste, rather jam-like leading to a resin-like bitterness. Watered. A little floury on the swallow, otherwise a quite decent one in great pub surroundings and company with Adam and Finn (Manchester, 22.01.2013).

Cask. Light, malty nose. Amber color. Flavor of caramel malt, minerals, pepper hops. Ok but a bit boring.

On tap at Slug and Lettuce, pours clear bronze. Aroma of bitter English malts and light caramel. Flavour of traditional bitter English malts, light toasted caramel and light spices. Not too good.

(Cask at Ye Grapes, Mayfair, London, 25 April 2008) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with apricots, oranges and sulphur. Fruity, malty taste with notes of toffee, orange, apricots, nuts and malt syrup. Sweetish, with a slightly artificial malt character. On the macro side.

Cask conditioned at the Aidensfield Arms, Goathland. This is a standard English bitter, not what you would think of as a well-hopped "IPA". Deep golden brown colour, low creamy head. Nice hoppy / fruity aroma. Smooth mouthfeel and flavour. Not very bitter at all.

Handpump at Weatherspoons, Heathrow Terminal 2 - amber colour with a creamy white head which lasted all the way down, smooth to drink, suspiciously like a nitro-brew. Floral, hoppy, aroma with a clean bitter taste, and no finish.
