Bottle. Pours clear darkish amber with small off-white head. Clear aroma of bread, yeast and rye, with some notes of hops. Sweetish, bready and malty flavour with a good deal of yeast and rye and some notes of hops. Bitterish afteraste. Lively carbonation, but the body is rather thin. I am normally not very fond of this beer style. This particular beer is, however, drinkable. Not much more than this, though.

The first "Easter" beer so far which has been good! And really good, to add to it. A very good bitter, to sum it up.

Geht in Ordnung. 6/7/7/7/7/7

66cl bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a beige mid-sized foamy head. Sweet and slightly yeasty toast-malty aroma with notes of toffee and shy but nevertheless quite aromatic and spicy hoppy notes. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and carbonated mouthfeel. Solid toasty malty taste with notes of toffee, spices and slightly woody hops towards the dry and moderately lasting finish. Good one. 16.XI.08

botlte at home. pours a nice amber, with a thick smooth offwhite head of decent but not giant size. aroma is flowery hoppy, slightly fruity, slightly floral. faint sweet malts too. aroma have a feel of good smooth solid, lots of high grade ingredients quality about itself. flavor is malty sweet, with a little hops to balance it. compared to ordinary beer one might say a lot of hops, but they can’t really match the malty sweetness, so somewhat out of balance. faint hay, nice mild and smooth bitterness, faint caramel. a decent brew.
