50 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep amber, golden with a creamy dense and slight off white head. Roasted and mild butterish aroma. Roasted malty and light bitter flavoured. Vague metallic note coming through. Light bitterness into the finish.

Half pint on cask. Small head, but great lacing round a deep brown body. Dash of dark caramel to the nose. Spicy flavour with dried fruit and some kind of sweetness, Medium palate (The Reindeer, Norwich 25.09.2006).

Cask at The Reindeer Norwich 25 Sep 2006. Dark brown coloured. A tiny disappearing creamy head. Fruity aroma. Caramellish flavour. Sweet aftertaste.

Bottled. Deep red/brun (rustic amber)coloured with quickly dissipating head. Lot of roasty, smoky malty and caramel. Nutty flavours held up well by the strong bitter backbone.

Sampled cask conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm.
Dark brown. Nutty aroma. Sweet and roasty. rounded and rather clean. Discretely flavourful - some cocoa, some fruit. Low bitterness.
