Bottle @ Rene’s house. Thanks a bunch for picking these up! Cloudy golden appearance with a white head. Mild banana, quite spicy, orange citrusy aroma. Fairly acidic, orange citrusy, banana, richly spicy flavor. The high carbonation kind of makes it pretty refreshing.

50 cl. bottle poured in to a weizen. Enjoyed with a salad. Label says 4,9 % alc. Hazy, golden-orange with a fast fading white head. Sweet aroma with spices, yeasts and malts. Actually this beer is more malt-oriented than the German fellows, and less sweet fruity (e.g. "banana" aroma). Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture, lively carbonated. Sweet, fruity finish with a slight bitterness. Nice thirst quencher, lacks a bit compared with some of the German originals.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet, Langnes. A wheat haze to an orange coloured body. Loose, patch head, no lace. Sweet fruity aroma with modest hints of spices. Taste of sweet banana and dough followed by mild, spicy bitterness. Soft carbonated. Dry-sweet texture. On a very average level (Tromsø, 03.02.2012).

Bottle at home. Hazy dark straw-coloured with a small off-white head. Sweet aromas in the nose of fruit and grains. The flavour is more spicy with cloves and citrus. Nice medium bitterness. Some watery mouthfeel and slightly slick. Overall a good and tasteful weizen.

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Aprikosfarget. Uklart. OK skumdannelse. Litt lavt til hveteøl å være. God appelsinaroma. Lite kullsyre. Smaken er sitrusfrukter med innslag av banan. Blir vel søt. 0 bitterhet. ---Corrected after being rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone 1.6.0

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 4.9%. Very cloudy brownish yellow colour, large white head. Typical hefeweizen aroma of cloves and banana. The medium dry flavour has also moderate notes of cloves, even more moderate notes of banana. Refreshing and very drinkable - maybe not the greatest h.w. around, but good enough for me.

Medium offwhite head makes a fizzing noise. Hazy deep yellow body with strong carbonation. Mealy orangey aroma with strawy milky herbal notes. Dry-sweet wheaty mealy orangey taste with herbal fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy orangey aftertaste with wheaty oily notes. Nice, highly drinkable, and full-flavoured, but not very exciting. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly.)

0.5l bottle. This one pours a heavy clouded, actually almost murky orange body with a big fluffy and long lasting just off-white head. Aroma has some lightly burned bready notes - no wait, it's popcorn! Burned popcorn! Lots of wheat, orange, yeast, hints of cloves and it's pretty much just as a goo weiz should be. Average carbonation, medium-bodied and it has a nice oily mouthfeel. Flavors are wheat, yeast, some sugar, a little bit of that nice ripe banana and it ends in a nice wheaty way. Not much more to say actually. This is quite a good beer!
