Murky Double IPA with Citra, Wai-iti, & Barbe Rouge Hops
Featuring some of the finest hops, Houblon Deluxe is a French-inspired murky double IPA collaboration with our friends at Outer Range Brewing Co. It’s soft, juicy, and full of hop flavor. Citra and Wai-iti complement Barbe Rouge, a new hop developed in the legendary growing region of Alsace, France. This hop is a descendant of Strisselspalt—the original French hop—and brings with it red fruit and citrus characteristics. Along with bright notes of tangerine and red current on the nose, flavors of kiwi, ruby red grapefruit and honeydew intermingle on the palate. Cheers to new hops and new collabs, or should we say santé!

16 ounce can from Tavour. Hazy orange gold pour. Pillowy white head. Nice lacing. Aromas of orange juice, fruit cocktail, mango. Flavors of sweet citrus, pear, mango, lemon and peach. Soft mouthfeel. A bit of kiwi fruit and melon on backend. Tasty.

Can from Tavour. Pours hazy gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of grapefruit and melon. Med body. Smooth and luscious texture. Juicy and not all that dry. May not even be enough bitter for balance. Flavor is the aroma, except that the grapefruit might be pink. Nice.
