MOSAIC IPA
A balanced Western North Carolina IPA with bright citrus and tropical fruit aromas. Expect big grapefruit, tangerine and subtle melon flavors from the chorus of Mosaic & Centennial hops to balance out the malt in this dank & drinkable ale.

Bottle brought from NC. Poured a clear golden amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light pine, with some malt and a touch of earthy notes. Flavor was pretty balanced, maybe a little too malt forward on this bottle. To be fair, I’m not sure how fresh the bottle is, it’s already in the recycling. The more crisp hop notes may have become a bit too subdued.

Thanks to John for sharing this! Very smooth and floral nose. The beer starts smooth, floral and intense. Very bitter with hints of caramel and a nice moderate sweetness. As there was no date, I think it is old - it just tastes like there was once much more floral aroma. Very sad. The aftertaste is intense bitter, hoppy with hints of floral remainings, caramel. Nice. 12/12/11/12

Dark amber body with a tight, creamy off-white head. Light malt aroma with some weak hops. The flavor is well balanced lightly bitter. Reserved IPA. Good but not for hop lovers.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy bronze color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus and herbal hops and toffee malts. The taste is citrus, earth, resin, pine hops with toffee malts. The hops are quite bitter. Medium bodied.
