Refreshing and thirst quenching Summmer Ale made from 100% Pilsener Malt and hopped six times with only Citra hop, producing lychee, mango, pineapple, orange and melon characters. Straw coloured, light malt sweetness, moderate bitterness with a citrus kick and dry finish. This Pony has made itself a fruit bowl.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average, fluffy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Dusty, strawy, grainy aroma, hints of dank, scruffy biscuit. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, the hop is able to disguise the latently present grainy, strawy and scruffy biscuity notes and adds even a touch of yellow stone fruit but doesn’t unfold really citrusy flavours. Not precisely impressive.

Hazy gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and semi dry and has mild fine carbonation. Light and thin malts. Touches of floralness and mild citrus. Modest piney coolness. Light finish. I can’t believe anyone went to all the trouble of importing this beer all the way from Australia! I mean really? A very average golden? There are much better beers than this in Australia and if you importers don’t know what they are then give me a job and I will find them for you!
