Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured almost black with orange highlights and a large foamy brown head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was dry and roasty with notes of coffee and wheat. The flavor was dry, roasty and woody with a bit of coffee and wheat. Long dry wheaty finish. Medium body. Meh.
