Inspired by our successful heritage barley helles beers, and as a brewery focused on lagers, we wanted to make a beer that was deeply connected to our home. More than just capitalising on a place name, Lothian Lager is brewed using 100% East Lothian grown barley. After a year of testing, we are confident this is some of the best malt we have ever used, and are proud to be the first brewery to get it.
This beer prioritizes malt, resulting in a crisp, vibrant, and grassy profile. The hops are carefully balanced and subtle, allowing the malt's character to shine. Super clean, super refreshing. Our perfect beer garden beer.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours clear pale gold with a decent white head. Aromas of green beans and light spice. Taste is white bread, grass, faintest lemon sweets. God body for the style.

Can from their webshoppe. It pours crystal clear pale lemon yellow with a fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, doughy white bread, straw, green, herbal, spring greens, crumbly biscuit, shortbread and a touch of spice. The taste is super crispy, dry, snappy, firm bitterness, spice, green, grassy, herbal, muted lemon - lime, fragrant, floral, daisies biscuity, shortbread, custard creams and cracker with a drying, toasty finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Interesting depth of flavour. Strikes a nice balance also. Very nice largerbier.
