Draft in an Osaka Izakaya. Golden coloured with a big white head. Aroma is creamy malt and not much else. Taste is much the same. Slight hoppiness, but all in all a fairy nice major brewed lager. Nice malty finish. Prefer the Premium Malts, but at 280 yen a glass this tasted pretty damn good. I have a weakness for Suntory Malts variety beers and am not sure why.

Tap at a cool Kyoto beer bar! Poured a clear golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light gluey, light floral, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, malt, gluey, light sweet, light mineral, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Very clean beer that I had for the first time in a long time the other day. It wasn’t nearly as hoppy as I remember, but I also remember there are several versions produced in Japan using slightly different hops and malts, though it never mentions this on the can. Nice clean malt character, well brewed beer and much better than macros in the West.

Decent mid-range beer from Suntory. I’ll echo what others have said as this having more malt flavor that many beers in it’s class and light years better than Asahi dry. A solid beer with nice flavor.

słodki, słodowo chmielowy zapach. da się wyczuć lekkie cytrusy, zioła i zielone jabłko. kolor złoty, przejrzysty, piana przyzwoita. w smaku półpełne, słodowe, dość gładkie i zbalansowane. niska goryczka zostawia jednak dość nieprzyjemne ściągające uczucie w ustach.

Can bought from a Seven eleven store in Hitachinaka, Ibaraki, Japan. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Malty, hoppy aroma. Tastes malty, hoppy, hint of sweetness. I rather like this, I drank quite a lot of it on my recent trip to Japan.

Bottle: drank out of the bottle did not pour, but seemed clear. Aroma is grassy and grains. Where is the malts? All i could taste was bitter grass and weeds.

Draught in Osaka. Decent aroma with some citrusy saaz hops and bready malts. Bitterness in the mouth is better than the Premium Malts, though the hop aroma and flavors can’t match it. Decent malt richness and good balance. A pretty darn good industrial lager, at least when on tap.
