Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5
Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe (at 4.1%). Pours golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. There’s tangerine and general citrus in the aroma, plus some hints of floral hops. In the mouth it starts off sweet and fruity but some underlying bitterness quickly shows up. Flavours of orange and melon with some hints of spices coming through later. This is a pleasant refreshing beer – but not a very exciting one !
