Can at Finnoo tasting
Poured dark brown in color.
Tervaleijona. Oily, slick mouthfeel. Tar and licorice. Artificial, perfumy. This is one strange beer.

Sweet, peaty, syrupy and roasty with some licorice, berries, tar salmiac candy, loads of vanilla, hints of artificial notes. Quite untypical and a bit weird, but somehow it works.

Canned at PBF. Black, no head. Aroma of milky butterscotch and raspberry jam. Artificially sweet with boiled milk, caramel, lots of strawberry jam and mild tart. Artificial sweetener meets burning alcohol in the finish.

Opaque colour, tiny beige head. Raspberry, tar, toffee in the nose. Medium-bodied. Heavy tar candy (Tervaleijona) flavour, oils, raspberry. Too much of everything but unique it is. PBF XV.

(Keg at Barley & Bait, 20250320) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had excessive sweetness, tar, dark chocolate and fudge. Palate was medium bodied and warming with low carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, tar, fudge, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had tar, sweetness and bitterness. The aroma promised way too much sweetness but fortunately the taste was more subtle. Quite good.
