dark brown color. Massive massive chai sweet nose. It overwhelms everything from nose to palate to ending. Pass

I love chai tea so had to order this when I saw it on the menu: Ushitora x Vivo Beer + Dining Bar 9 Chai Spiced Milk Stout Holy shit does this have a spicy aroma, the ruby brown beer has a medium to light body and good flavor. The spices are just shy of over the top so deliver all the chainflavor you could want. I think a bit more lactose and body and you’d have a big winner, apparently it was made for Vivo’s 9th Anniversary.

Draft at Ant ‘n Bee, Tokyo. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of massive intense chai, really full on with caramel and toffee notes behind. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Ant n Bee, Tokyo. Poured a clear dark reddish brown colour, with little life. The aroma is big chai tea, red berry fruits, Christmas spices. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a rich, slightly oily, fruity, spicy palate. Medium bodied with flat carbonation. A winter warmer and surprisingly to find this in Japan.
