Can from Amazon as part of a Yo-Ho 4 can set. Served in a pilsner glass it pours a deep gold with a good 1 cm head of fizzy foam. Sweet, lightly bready pilsner malts. Sweet, then bready then a soapy sweetness kind of reminding me of that mini-purple chewing gum that had a slight soapiness to it. The finish is semi-dry, refreshing and lightly hoppy, it has enough of a malt profile but it a bit too sweet for me plus I don’t dig that mild soapiness. Actually once I get used to it that initial soapy feeling is gone and it becomes a pretty average pils. OK.

Can. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity grainy and slightly grassy aroma. Fruity grainy flavor with some bitterness. Has a sweetish malty grainy finish.

Canned at Shinshu Osake Mura (Nagano Sake Village), Tokyo. Clear golden, creamy head. Fruity and grainy, slim and dry. Light grassy hops leads it the strightest way to a salty bitterish finish.

Pale colored. Fruity, malty flavor. Slightly grassy and decently balanced. I find this can be quite variable. At its best, it is a light, fruity, citrusy, flavorful pils, almost ale-like. It seems to go off rather easily, though, and then it gets rather insipid (see some ratings below). This rating is for a can in top condition.

Smallish white head. Light yellow body. Dense firm malty straw aroma with hoppy caramel notes. Dry caramelly straw and malt taste with dry grainy hoppy notes. Clean, clear mouthfeel. Dry, resiny malty sweetish aftertaste with medicinal notes. Nice! (0.35l can from, I think, the supermarket in the Matsumoto bus station.)
