Sample at the taproom during the Akronym Brewing Anniversary Weekend! on 06/22/2020. Dark brownish-mahogany pour with a medium thin beige head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of bourbon, roast malt, caramel and hops. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, caramel malt, dark fruit and earthy hop. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Solid beer all around.
