Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black pour with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Patchy lacing. Roast malt, chocolate and hazelnut in the nose. Medium body with flavors of charred malt, hazelnut and chocolate. The finish is sweet and roasty with a hazelnut aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
