Sample at the taproom during the Outerbelt Brewing Collaboration event on 12/22/2018. Black pour with some brown around the edges and a medium tan head that dissipates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Small patches of lace. Aroma of bourbon, malt, vanilla and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, charred malt, vanilla and dark chocolate. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
