Bottle shared at the CBJ BIG BOOSTY XMAS tasting, thanks to Kenneth, 13/12/23. Black topped with a tan cap that thins to the edge of the glass. Nose is maple syrup, dark malts, light roast, brown sugar melt, molasses. Taste comprises toffee fudge, hint of chocolate, vanilla, lighter maple tones, mellow roast. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Okay sipper but sub par compared to the usual standards of this series.

Bottle shared at CBJ - big thanks to Kenny. Pours unclear brown with a slight, creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour, light oxidation, notes of burnt marshmallows, toffee, cocoa, booze. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish. So so. Bit dusty.

Craft Beer Junction. Xmas bottleshare. Almost opaque dark brown beer, short lived pale tan head. Airy and semi dry palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thinnish dark malts. Mild dark chocolate. Obvious honey but under control. Little vanilla. Mild maple. Light finish. Tasty but could be more luxuriant in the mouthfeel.

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey Bottle share. Many thanks. A thick dark black brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is semi sweet caramel. Honeycomb, brown sugars.ild age, cola cubes, ginger. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, cola, caramel, brown sugars, honeycomb,. Age has mellowed this one., vanilla. Palate is semi sweet, oily, light tang, moderate carbonation. Ok.

From bottle to tulip. 2018. Aroma of chocolate and roast. Slight sweet nut. Black with brown head and solid lacing. Flavor follows aroma. Roast is stronger. Sweetness from the maple.

Bottle in the hotel. Pours deep brown, nose is roasted, treacle, vanilla, maple syrup, taste is sweet, chewy caramel, some maple syrup, chocolate, a little soapy.

Sampled at Churchkey's Fifty Fifty event, looks like all the others. Nose has vanilla, maple, birch too, witchhazel, malt, bread. Flavor is a bit thin, witchhazel, black tea, tootsie roll. Maple is lesser on the tongue. Vanilla is too. Thin finish.

Bottle at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a round bubbly light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, maple syrup, liqouirce. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth sugary, syrup, boozy alcohol palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.
