Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black color with a medium foamy beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lace. Coffee, malt and chocolate aromas. Medium body with a roasty malt and mocha character. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Above average overall.
