Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patches of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of bourbon, malt and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of bourbon, oaky vanilla and chocolate malt. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
