Sample at the taproom during International Stout Day at the Phoenix on 11/07/2019. Brown-black pour with a medium beige head that recedes steadily to a film. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of malt, peppers and oak. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky tequila, chocolate malt and chili pepper. The finish is oaky and chocolatey with a tequila aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
