Sample at the taproom. Brown-black color with a medium-thin beige head that recedes quickly to a dense film. Sticky latticework of lace. Aroma of roast malt, coffee and chocolate. Light to medium body with flavors of roasted malt, earthy coffee and semi-sweet chocolate. The finish is roasty with a short malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
