At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly fizzy, light brown head, opaque very dark brown color, aroma of sour dark bread, some umami, chocolate and earthy hints, chocolate and vanila flavor with a metal hint and a whiff of coal, noticable sourness, not too heavy. Nice and enjoyable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks zvsn. Black, tan foam. Chocolate, roast, soy sauce, licorice, sweet, umami, bitterish finish, quite full-bodied.

Kicsi, nem túl tartós hab, fekete szín. Kávés, kakaós, pörkölt malátás illatok, némi aszalt gyümölcsös beütéssel. Kávés, kakaós, étcsokis ízek, aszalt gyümölcsös aromákkal. Száraz, közepesen szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Kellemes, tipikus impstout.

On keg at CBR18, Brick Lane. Pours a jet black with a tan head. Aroma: roast malt, coffee, cream. Taste: moderate sweet, roast malts, espresso, dark choc, cacao, pralines. Quite thin bodied, soft carb, dry bitter finish

0.33l bottle. Black body with a quickly disappearing brown head. Chocolate, butter, coffee and floral hops in the aroma. It also has a bit booze to it. Taste is really similar with notes of chocolate, caramel and floral hops with a bit of pepper and raisins. More chocolatey than coffe-like. A nice old school RIS.
