Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
Sample at the brewpub. Dark brownish-amber color with a medium light beige head that recedes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Smoked malt, fruit and caramel aroma. Medium to full body with flavors of charred malt, medicinal fruit and caramel. The finish is sweet and smokey with a malty aftertaste, Decent overall.
