Slightly cloudy medium amber colour, fair frothy off-white to beige head, dissipates slowly to a small cap, light lacing. Aroma toasted malts, grain, caramel, honey. Taste light to medium sweet and bitter toasted malts, caramel, light nutty and honey notes. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, light burnt caramel, grainy notes. Medium body, watery to oily texture, average carbonation, nice brown ale.

Can from Beer Republic, 12 oz sample. Hazy brown color, medium frothy head. Aroma of some toffee and grassy hop. Bit sweet in taste, some grassy bitterness. Nothing spectacular, but I expected much worse judging by the average score. Tasty.

355ml can. Slightly cloudy, dark copper-ish, brown colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white to beige head. Minimally nutty, caramel malty aroma with a minimally sweaty, buttery, doughy yeasty touch. Taste is minimally nutty, caramel malty, minimally sugary and doughy yeasty; simple, monotonous, with watery passages. So-so.

Can 355ml (Beer Republic, no BB date)
My only second beer from Alabama. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Evident honey in the malty, caramelly nose. Medium-bodied. Flavour has crystal malts, some vanilla sugar and honey. Low bitterness, lacks hops. Meh.

Bottle. Light honey, chocolate caramel malt, and straw aroma. Brown with small off-white head. Moderately sweet chocolate-caramel malt and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body. Nice easy drinking brown ale.
