Dive into this light, bright and racy blonde and a biscuity malt backbone quickly yields to a hopilicious hit of grapefruit and spicy pine and a wash of pleasant bitterness, flowing in waves from a Hercules of the hop world, Chinook. Don’t be fooled by its lower 4.0% ABV; this punchy blonde throws a hook that’s capable of delivering a blow against stronger beers whilst allowing you to enjoy a longer session. Win win.
Aroma: Pine forest washed with exotic spice, grapefruit peel.
Flavour: Zippy grapefruit, a lush resinous pine punch, a gratifying grip of clean bitterness to finish.

Cask, shared with Finn at The Prince of Wales (JDW). Spotty lacing from a copper brown (not blonde) body. Low off-white head. Toffee and moments of dried fruity nose. Brown, bread-like flavours, hints of mid-dry fruits to the ending. Accepted. (Cardiff 02.05.2017).

Cask @ Olde Mitre Tavern, Hatton Garden, London. Clear golden with an extremely small bubbly head head. A little watery, which negates its mild pale ale texture. Has hints of fruit.

Gravity poured half-pint on 26th Aug 2015 at the Peterborough Beer Festival. As the name suggests, this is a blond/golden brew, the head a steady off-white crown. Hop laden brew with a bitter bite throughout. Floral hop nose that belies the true hop content within the flavours. Decent.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 8/7/2015. Clear and gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head that left rings down the glass. Light, floral hop and yeasty, stone fruit, aroma. Flavour was similar: sweet, yeasty fruits, with a moderately bitter finish. Ok.
