12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 3/1/2017. Pours moderate hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, zesty, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, light caramel, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.7%. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Kind of East coast feeling with the milder bitterness. This has nice juicy Mosaic/Centennial hop character; with a nice bready malt backbone. Never overly sweet/heavy feeling. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle @ home. Clear orange golden color, medium sized white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is lightly malts, very nice tropical fruit hoppy, grapefruit. Taste lightly malts, again great tropical fruityness, grapefruit and fruity hop bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Lovely beer.

Super hazy and cloudy orange and copper coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of crisp tropical fruits, a bunch of grassy and perfumey notes, a little grain and malt to support and ending with more of a sweetness from the fruits and a bit of a grassy character as well - very nice and incredibly robust. Medium-bodied; Assertive tropical fruit flavours from the hops dominate with guava, curacao, apricot, peach and passionfruit notes show through with a lot of herbal and grassy qualities to finish it off, and all with a good balance of a malt backbone and some dry grassy flavours and complexity at the very end. Aftertaste shows more of the grassy and herbal hop notes than anything else with hints of the tropical fruits, along with a subdued sweetness, but mainly focused on hops and their dryer side of the spectrum, makes this one very nice. Overall, a very good and smooth IPA that shows Mosaic hops nicely, which is evidently a hop varietal that I like quite a bit, but balanced well, with a ton of complexity for the style and a rich sweetness as well make this worth picking up if you can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Grape Vine in Fort Mill, South Carolina on 21-August-2017, after watching the Eclipse, sampled at home in Washington on 09-September-2017.
