End Point IPA gets its name from the ‘end point’ of chemical reactions, and was the love-child of a long succession of hop experiments. It mingles lager malts with pale ale malts as its starting point. This gives it a light golden colour and a sweet succulent body on which Admiral adds the herbal aromas, First Gold the floral and Herkules the pine, whilst the American hops leap and dance, with citrus the dominant theme. This is a modern take on the historic Burton IPA.

A crisp IPA with a decent malt base under the fruity hop. It's nicely balanced but fairly straightforward.

Can from a supermarket, drunk in a hotel. Pale golden. Light citrus aroma and light bitter taste. Medium body.
