Mostly clear golden coloured body with a pretty nice two to three centimetre tall off-white head that's microfoamed and stays atop nicely over the 15 per cent opaque body. Aroma of crisp, grainy and biscuity malts with a light hint of alcohol and soft hops noticeable as well with the yeast and bready notes perhaps strongest. Light to Medium-bodied; Pretty grassy flavour at first with a dry, floral and hoppy character along with a good balance of malts and some very soft fruit notes at the end with only a minor bit of alcohol that is noticeable, but mild. Aftertaste is very clean with the dry, grassy hop and malt notes both strong, but providing good character and complexity - nice throughout, yet mild enough to be easy-drinking for the style. Overall, a nice beer with some actual hop bitterness and range, crisp malts and a touch of alcohol at the end. Nice to sample, especially given that this style is not represented much anymore, so when I have them, I hop they're good...and this one is! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia as part of the Christmas 12 Pack Sampler, on 23-December-2022 for US$9,99 with a 'Best By' date of 31-January-2024! but sampled at my house here in Washington, a few blocks away on 13-February-2023.

12oz can. Poured a very slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Aroma was big citrus. Clean and refreshing, pretty decent hoppy pale ale. Light grassy notes.

12 oz can from 12 Beers of Christmas pack. This has been in the wold before becoming a variety pack beer, so maybe it's developed some? A standard American hop nose under the tab, nicely resiny. Does kick out a nice, puffy, long-lasting head. Hazy gold beer in the glass. Taste is nice enough. Slight fruit from the hops. A very light caramel malt. Hop bitterness is at basic pale ale strength, but it is felt in the prickly bubbles against my lips. Yes, a nice sessionable pale ale.

Pours pale golden with some sediment and a thin white head. Aroma of floral malt. Taste has more floral notes, hibiscus, some bready elements, vaguely pilsener like. Palate has more of this on the nose, lingering citrus and floral elements on the tongue. Refreshing.

Draught @ Albion. Hazy bright yellow with faint citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter unripe mango-citrus-pineapple taste, thin body, long bitter finish. Nice NEIPA.

Crazy labeled can, $2 at vintage boardman. Smell is resinous sweet hops. Hazy pale in the stang. Citrus green grapefruit rinds. Some co2, definitely mouth coating. Big bang ying with no yang. Difficult and medicinal in the middle with its whining whistle. Somewhat like cleaning fluid on the finish, terribly on style for an IPA, but it aint? Not impressed, but is seems somewhat freakish fresh.
