Classic Japanese pale lager. Light grassy and grainy aromas. Active carbonation, tastes of cardboard and grain. Light body and watery mouthfeel. Dry finish. True to style, but unfinishable for me at this point. --- Beer merged from original tick of Premium Draft on 01 Jan 2016 at 17:17 - Score: 3

Bottle. Clear light golden body. Fizzy white head, diminishing. Light aroma of raw grain, herbs, hint of vegetables. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Light grassy taste mixed in with vegetable and light sulfur. A inoffensive pale lager with little character.

11.3 FL oz. bottled at One Flew South, in the Atlanta airport. The pour is clear golden with not much white head. The aroma is cereal grain malt along with a bit of sweet floral. The taste is the clean malt cereal grain along with a nice soft sweet floral. Decent integration of the flavors. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and a clean simple dry finish. Simple straightforward and clean beer, worked well with sushi.

Tap in Naha. Almost no nose to speak of. Light grain and a tiny bit of citrus. Pale golden color. Light, thin, and watery flavor. Almost no flavor either. Not bad, just almost tastes like water. Bit of malt and grain and a tiny bit of bitterness.

33 cl can in Hong Kong. Light gold color, clear, with a nice lingering white head. Malty nose. Aroma is pretty malty, with grains and bread, somewhat doughy. Taste is sweetish but balanced, body is light to medium and finish somwhat sticky and sour. Tasty lager, nonetheless.

35 cl can. As above, texture is a bit dusty, dry finish.

zapach starego chmielu i skarpety (nie tak starej jak chmiel). złoty, przejrzysty kolor i dość porządna piana. w smaku jedyne co czuć to lekka, ziemista goryczka.

0,35 ml can. Pours with a large white head that is gone after a few seconds. This beer is very clear, definitely filtered. Not much carbonation. Aroma is faint cookies, with some sweet undertones - probably coming from rice and cornstarch. I can already guess that this is going to be quite watery. Taste is not usual Japanese macro that I actually expected but somewhat milder and softer, with some malt (or rice) sweetness dominating in the aftertaste. Aftertaste itself is pretty short, nothing really special. Drinkable but not too good, I guess it would be nice to have it on a hot beach.

Bottle bought in London. Pale gold colour with an average white head. Aromas of grass, and malt. Body light-medium. Hoped for something a little better.

28.06.2013, 0,33l bottle @ Wasabi Manhattan NYC:
Fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is neutral, light malts, rice, hints of hay and yeast. Taste is slightly sour-ish, light malts, grass, citrus, hay. Little bitterness. Weird!
