Bottle at Svijet Piva (World of Beers), Zagreb. Shared with others. About a year ago. Murky light yellow, a lot of foam, big head, sediment rises to the surface. Fruit - apple and banana. Some sourness, light, boring. Nothing special.

Sampled from tap at the Oedipus International Beer Festival 2016. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Fruity, floral aroma of lemon peel, some pineapple and fresh grass. Sweetish, fruity and floral taste of lemon peel, pineapple and fresh grass, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy and a little effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottle at tasting. Golden pour. Aroma of funk, malt and grain. Simple taste of sweet yeast, flower and malt. Bit dusty and not funky unfortunately.

750mL bottle, undated (FROWN), from Downtown Spirits, drunk 11/6/15.
Lustrous white golden liquid is highly carbonated and sparklingly clear, leaving the moderate amount of sediment behind. White head atop is large and slowly recedes to cover.
All sorts of herbs and spices in the nose. Elderflower certainly the most prominent but I also get a big coriander-like quality, with white pepper, soft lavender and lemon oil notes also in the mix. No wild yeast/bacteria, which is kind of refreshing, as I thought for sure that would be in this. Instead, you have angel food cake-like malt notes, with moderate fruitiness (papaya, mango, very light pineapple) and a good deal of bubble gum lingering. No alcohol or flaws.
White farmhouse ale can certainly encompass a lot of different things, but this comes off to me mostly as a Belgian Wit. There’s the bubble gum character, prominent lemony-citrus notes and healthy dose of coriander-like dryness. A little more poignancy added from the rosehips and the elderflower adds both earthy and peppery qualities. Ample, natural carbonation (a bit fizzy at times), a very soft, even oily, texture with chewy wheat notes (actually spelt) and moderate pale malt sweetness. Very interesting, drinkable, well-done beer (not overdone on the spicing). I think most people are expecting a wild ride out of this when I’m guessing that’s not the intention here at all.

On tap at The Commons, pours a cloudy opaque yellow blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, medium funk and light floral notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of floral notes, medium funk, and Belgian yeast. Really well balanced and yeasty. Very good.

Bottle from Bierkompass, bought in March 2015. Hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma and taste of flowers, citrus, fruit and some light hay. Relaxed and easy to drink with a lively carbonation. The body was medium and the finish quite dry.
